I suspect that they are not all in a single plane. This is because, when we see the planets in the sky, we need to look above into the sky, each planet seen at various angles from the Earth's horizon. Further, if all the planets were in the same plane we should not have been able to see

Jupiter moons?

by mcwetboy
Question by Kara: Jupiter moons?
I believe that Jupiter has quite a few moons that orbit it and that the gravitational pulls on a couple of the moons actually cause them to switch orbital patterns occasionally. My questions are:

1) is it possible for two full-sized planets to orbit the same sun/star and occasionally switch orbital patterns?

2) If question 1 is possible, is it possible for those two planets to collide (obviously at the intersection point)?

Moon Enters Pisces & Mars Opposition Saturn & Moon into Aries (August 8 -9) Hurricane Warning for Hawaii

The specific changes of the astrological weather are not so impressive this weekend! Never the less it looks like the real weather might have some big splashes waiting for us here in Hawaii. I am a member of the CERT, the Community Emergency Response Team on the island. We have been called in to an emergency briefing later in the day in preparation of the
