The USS Constellation in Baltimore, MD's Inner Harbor. Just having a bit of fun with this photo - not the most perfect composition but we were on a water taxi and were coming in quickly. What happens to the space shuttle rocket and boosters?

by State Library and Archives of Florida

I know the side booster things fall off first, and later the whole rocket detaches. But where do they land? In the water, I'm guessing, but if the space shuttle is way up in outer space by the time the rocket parts fall away, how can they be sure

What's the difference between astronomy and astrology?

by NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center
What's the difference between astronomy and astrology?

Although astronomy and astrology are historically related and many individuals were interested in both, there is today no connection between the two. Hence two different USENET newsgroups exist: sci.astro (for the former) and alt.astrology (for the latter). DO NOT CONFUSE THEM.
Astronomy is based on the laws of physics (and therefore mathematics) and aims at describing what is happening to

I expressed my belief that such observation is done lying on one's back in a meadow, not with a telescope. He says that "naked eye" just means without a camera. He's the astronomer but I still think I'm right.
